Download the zip
Get ClutterDock-*-mac.zip from Releases. Universal (Apple Silicon + Intel).
Public downloads are coming soon. When they open, use the steps below for Gatekeeper (Mac) and SmartScreen (Windows).
macOS 14+
Native Swift app. Default hotkey: ⌘⇧D.
Get ClutterDock-*-mac.zip from Releases. Universal (Apple Silicon + Intel).
Unzip, then move ClutterDock.app into /Applications.
First launch only: right-click the app → Open → Open. Or use Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
macOS blocks apps that aren’t notarized by Apple. ClutterDock is safe to run from our GitHub Releases; it’s just not Developer ID–notarized yet.
Fix: Finder → right-click ClutterDock → Open (don’t double-click the first time). Confirm Open in the dialog. Alternate: System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll to the blocked-app message → Open Anyway.
After the first successful open, normal launches work like any other app.
Windows 10 / 11
Electron tray launcher. Default hotkey: Ctrl+Shift+D.
Portable or installer from Releases (unsigned beta for friend testing).
If SmartScreen warns, choose More info → Run anyway.
ClutterDock lives in the system tray. Use the hotkey or tray menu to open stacks.
Windows shows this for apps without a paid code-signing certificate. Expected for this beta. Only download from our official Coming soon page.
Fix: Click More info, then Run anyway.
After install
Right-click the Dock icon → Options → Keep in Dock so it’s always one click away.
⌘⇧D on Mac, Ctrl+Shift+D on Windows. Change presets in Settings when available.
Folders and history migrate automatically. Your SDPRO-… keys still work.
Settings → Pro. Checkout on the site is still coming; keys work offline once you have one.
Local-first. No account. See the privacy page.
Open a GitHub Issue with your OS version and what you saw.
Public Mac and Windows builds will open here when ClutterDock launches.
