Summary
ClutterDock is a local-first app. Your folders, history, and settings stay on your device. We do not require an account and we do not operate a cloud backend that stores your launcher data.
What we store on your device
Configuration such as folder contents, preferences, launch history, and (if you activate Pro)
your license key are stored in local application support directories on macOS or Windows
(for example ~/Library/Application Support/ClutterDock/ on Mac).
What we do not collect
ClutterDock does not include analytics SDKs, ad trackers, or forced cloud sync in the current builds. Opening external links (for example a purchase page or this website) is under your control.
Purchases & license keys
If you buy Pro through a third-party store, that store processes payment under its own privacy policy. License keys are validated offline on your device.
Website
This marketing site is static and may be served from clutterdock.com, clutterdock.app, or a static host such as GitHub Pages. Hosting providers may log standard web requests (IP address, user agent) according to their policies.
Update checks
Optional in-app update checks may query a public releases feed (for example GitHub Releases) over HTTPS. That request goes to the host under their privacy policy — not to a ClutterDock account backend.
